Maria’s career in the Insurance industry spans 22 years, across both the Insurance Broking and Underwriting sectors. She has experience as a Professional Lines Broker and Underwriter, and as an Underwriter across Casualty and Property classes.  

In her role at Whitbread, Maria heads up the EngInsure team. EngInsure is a joint initiative between Whitbread Insurance Brokers, and Engineers Australia. The brand was established to assist Engineers specifically in placing insurance which adequately protects themselves and their businesses.           

Maria’s specialisation lies in Professional Indemnity Insurance, and she is particularly passionate about finding insurance solutions for the unique risks faced by Engineering professionals.     

With a personable and knowledgeable approach, Maria works closely with clients’ to tailor insurance solutions which address their current risk exposures, whilst also anticipating those of the future.

Maria has a Diploma of Financial Services General Insurance and is a Tier 1 qualified Insurance Broker.
