CEO Dare to Cure Challenge 2024!

We’re excited to announce Michael Giansiracusa – Whitbread CEO – will again be taking part in the CEO Dare to Cure, raising funds for childhood cancer research!

Last year Michael raised a massive total of $17,916 (by taking part in the ice bath challenge); this year we hope to raise even more as he steps out of his comfort zone and endures three straight hours of pedaling on a stationary bike, dedicated to the three kids that die every single week from cancer.

As the only independent medical research institute in Australia, The Children’s Cancer Institute is wholly dedicated to curing childhood cancer. Everything they do is about ensuring every child with cancer not only survives, but goes on to lead a long and healthy life.

Please support Michael’s dare to help kids with cancer! Here’s the link to make a donation.

Find out more about CEO Dare to Cure here.

  • When Friday 18 October 2024, from 6am to 9:30am
  • Where The Timber Yard, 351 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne
  • What 3-Hour Cycle Challenge: Three straight hours on a stationary bike
  • Why Because every year in Australia over 1,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. For hundreds of these children, cancer will cut their life short, before they’ve even had a chance to make their mark. Instead, life should be long and every child should have the chance to grow up and grow old…to plan exciting futures, chase their dreams, and fulfil their potential.

We hope you’ll support Michael in this exciting challenge and help make a positive difference!
