Covered Features

Property Damage

Covers physical loss or damage to your property during the period of insurance.

Theft

Covers the loss of your contents and stock from theft, attempted theft, armed hold up or an actual or threatened assault. ‘Theft of property insured in the open air’ is an optional extra.

Public and Products Liability

Provides cover for liability incurred as a result of negligence, actual or alleged, that has resulted in 3rd party property damage, personal injury or advertising injury.

Glass

Coves the breakage of glass which you own or for which you are legally responsible.

Business Interruption

Provides cover for loss of gross profit in the event of an interruption or interference with your business as a result of an insured peril such as fire, theft, storm damage.

Machinery and Equipment Breakdown

Covers the breakdown of machinery or electronic equipment at your premises.

Money

Cover for loss of money from your business premises during business hours, in a locked safe, in transit and/or at your private residence.

General Contents

Cover for items that you use offsite such as tools, lap tops and other electronic equipment.

What is the difference between business contents and stock?

Business contents are all of the items at your premises belonging to you the owner. Stock is the products and materials that you intend to sell.

Can I cover my business equipment away from the office?

Yes, these items can be included within the general property section of the policy.

How is my business insurance premium calculated?

Your premium is calculated based on the size of your business, location, type of work you perform and your claims history.
