General Manager Corporate Partnerships, Whitbread Insurance Brokers | Director, Whitbread Life

Michael joined Whitbread in 2002, and has developed his insurance and business acumen from the ground up. Throughout his time here, Michael has held several management positions including Broking Operations Manager of our commercial division.  He holds two pivotal positions within the Whitbread Group, General Manager Corporate Partnerships and Director of Whitbread Life.

General Manager | Corporate Partnerships

In his capacity as General Manager, Corporate Partnerships, Michael plays an integral part in steering the strategic direction of Whitbread Insurance Brokers.

Michael’s core focus surrounds the development and growth of key partnerships, through the provision of insurance and risk management services.

Director | Whitbread Life

Michael's focus is helping his clients protect the things they care most about - their loved ones.  By placing people at the core of the decision making process, combined with his in-depth product knowledge, Michael's clients trust that the solutions he presents will protect their livelihood under the most difficult circumstances.

Recognising that we all have a basic need to be understood, Michael's approach is to thoroughly grasp his clients’ personal circumstances.  Armed with this insight, Michael canvases the market to find insurance solutions that address his client's specific needs, protecting them from financial hardship should the unexpected happen.

Fusing his relationship driven approach with a passion for negotiating the best outcomes for clients is the reason the Whitbread family approached Michael to head the Whitbread Life division.  Michael specialises in life, trauma, income protection, and permanent partial disability insurance.

Michael holds a Diploma in Finance Services, is RG 146 qualified and is a member of the Australia New Zealand Institute and the Association of Financial Advisers.
